Nancy leads with an exploratory mindset that creates opportunities for idea exchange and development of best practices.

She developed her governance strategies while working at the United Nations  in Geneva, Switzerland, as a Senior Legal Officer. Her team of 12 legal professionals from 10 countries negotiated or adjudicated over USD10 billion in construction and engineering claims from 400 companies from 45 countries, arising from the 1990 Gulf War.

Nancy joined Foley & Lardner, LLP upon her return to the US from Switzerland. As the Managing Partner of the Northern California offices, she restructured the offices to profitability while doubling the revenue, during which time the SF Business Times named the San Francisco Office a Best Places to Work. The SF Business Times named Nancy to the Bay Area Most Influential Women in Business for eight consecutive years and to the first class of its Hall of Fame. In 2012, Nancy founded and managed a trial consulting firm and grew that organization to USD6 million in revenue in five years, after which she sold her equity position.
