Avis Yates Rivers is a pioneering entrepreneur with over 40 years of experience in the information technology industry. She is the CEO and Founder of Technology Concepts Group International, LLC (TCGi), a company specializing in innovative IT, cybersecurity, and supply chain solutions. Avis began her career at Exxon Corporation, where she worked for 11 years before embarking on her entrepreneurial journey.

Her latest venture, the TCGi Foundation, aims to bridge the diversity gap in technology by supporting young Black women pursuing careers in STEM. The foundation provides scholarships, mentoring, and advocacy to ensure they achieve their educational and professional goals.

Recognized for her leadership and community service, Avis has been honored as a White House Champion of Change in STEM. She is also the author of Necessary Inclusion: Embracing the Changing Faces of Technology, advocating for greater participation of women and people of color in the tech industry.
