Sigourney Norman
As Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships for WBEC Metro NY and Greater DMV, Sigourney Norman directs business development and programs while innovating new products and services to grow and sustain the mission of WBEC NY & DMV.
Sigourney is an experienced professional, trained as a lawyer and an innovator by practice. Driven by a passion for making an impact, she takes pride in doing work that structurally uplifts women and other historically excluded communities. Before joining WBEC NY & DMV Sigourney worked in the legal, non-profit, start-up and social entrepreneurship spaces.
She has a BS in political science from Tufts University where she was a member of the Political Science Honor Society. She earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law which she attended on the full ride Ron Brown Scholarship, a designation and program for students with a commitment to corporate social responsibility. While earning her J.D. Sigourney was also a member and editor of the St. John’s University School of Law Journal for Civil Rights and Economic Development (JCRED).
